CANADA STOCKS-TSX extends slide on weak oils, financials

TORONTO, Feb 20 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index fell 3 percent on Friday afternoon as the heavily weighted energy and financials groups tumbled on falling oil prices and worries over the U.S. banking sector.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 245.78 points, or 3.0 percent, at 7,939.57, with nine of its 10 main groups lower. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Rob Wilson)
