CANADA STOCKS-TSX sinks 2 pct as resources, financials fall

TORONTO, Feb 23 (Reuters) - Toronto’s key stock index extended its fall on Monday afternoon as resource issues slid on weakness in commodity prices, while financial shares dropped on concerns over the U.S. banking sector.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 160.64 points, or 2.02 percent, at 7,789.35. All 10 TSX sectors were lower. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Peter Galloway)
