CANADA STOCKS-TSX rises 1 pct on stronger commodities
TORONTO Feb 25 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index rose 1 percent on Wednesday afternoon as energy shares rose on stronger oil prices, while the materials sector got support from firmer metals prices.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE climbed 78.50 points, or 1.0 percent, to 7,937.83. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Peter Galloway)
