TORONTO, March 2 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index dropped 5 percent on Monday morning, yanked down by weak Canadian GDP data, slumping oil, and a big loss at U.S. insurer AIG (AIG.N: Quote).

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 409.41 points, or 5.04 percent, at 7,713.61, with all of its 10 main groups lower. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Peter Galloway)
