CANADA STOCKS-TSX falls 2 percent as financials weaken

TORONTO, March 3 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock market index fell 2 percent at midday on Tuesday to its lowest level since October 2003, yanked down by weakness in the heavily weighted financials sector.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 161.05 points, or 2.09 points, at 7,526.26.46. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Peter Galloway)
