CANADA STOCKS-TSX stumbles to lowest close since Oct 2003
TORONTO, March 9 (Reuters) - The key Toronto stock index ended at its lowest closing level in more than five years on Monday as a drop in gold prices shook shares of Canadian gold-mining companies, while bank concerns weighed on financial issues.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 27.05 points, or 0.36 percent, at 7,564.42. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; Editing by Peter Galloway)
