CANADA STOCKS-TSX ends lower, pulled down by commodities

TORONTO, March 27 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index ended lower on Friday as a drop in commodity prices shook the resource-heavy index, but it still made gains for a third straight week.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 168.81 points, or 1.9 percent, at 8,826.69. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; editing by Peter Galloway)
