CANADA STOCKS-Rising gold lifts Toronto index
TORONTO, April 1 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index turned positive near the open on Wednesday, after falling 1 percent at the outset as rising gold prices helped offset weak oil prices and a grim U.S. private-sector jobs reading.
