TORONTO, April 22 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened lower on Wednesday as a drop in oil prices rattled the energy sector while weighty bank shares were unloaded after news of a quarterly loss at Morgan Stanley (MS.N).
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 28.13 points, or 0.3 percent to 9,219.02 at the open. Seven of ths sectors were lower, led by a 1.6 percent drop in financials. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; editing by Peter Galloway)
