CANADA STOCKS-TSX sinks 2 percent on swine flu fears

TORONTO, April 27 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index fell sharply on Monday morning after seven straight weeks of gains as concerns about a possible global swine flu outbreak hit commodity prices, dimming hopes of an economic recovery.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 197.94 points, or 2.07 percent, at 9,351.54. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
