CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher as sentiment improves
TORONTO, April 29 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened higher on Wednesday as forecast-beating earnings from European companies sparked renewed interest in equities after two straight falling sessions.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 63.76 points, or 0.68 percent, to 9,411.79 at the open. Nine of the TSX's 10 sectors were higher. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; editing by Peter Galloway)
