TORONTO, May 4 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index rallied 3 percent on Monday afternoon as gains accelerated in heavily weighted resource and financial stocks, pushing the index to its highest level since Nov. 10.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE gained 284.67 points, or 3 percent, to 9,781.63. All 10 of the index's main groups were higher. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)
