CANADA STOCKS-TSX tops 10,000 pts on resources, financials
TORONTO May 6 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index shot through the 10,000-point level on Wednesday, hitting its highest point in six months, as resource and financial issues led a broad-based rally.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 265.71 points, or 2.69 percent, at 10,146.43. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Rob Wilson)
