CANADA STOCKS-Toronto index flat as energy shares drag
TORONTO, June 2 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index ended slightly lower on Tuesday as lower oil prices weighed on the energy sector, while an extended rally by bank shares after last week's earnings helped cushion the overall retreat.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 13.57 points, or 0.13 percent, at 10,590.49. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; editing by Rob Wilson)
