CANADA STOCKS-TSX skids 3 pct, hit by lower oil prices
TORONTO, June 3 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock market index fell 3 percent on Wednesday afternoon as a drop in oil prices rattled energy shares.
At 1:29 p.m. (1729 GMT), the S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 318.99 points, or 3 percent, at 10,269.80. Eight of the TSX's 10 sectors were down, led by a 5 percent drop in the energy sector. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; editing by Peter Galloway)
