TORONTO, June 19 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened higher on Friday morning on a rise in commodities prices, but Research In Motion RIM.TO shares fell after the company offered an outlook late on Thursday that disappointed the market.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 77.78 points, or 0.77 percent, at 10,199.28 at the open. Nine of the index's 10 main groups were higher, with the information technology group, of which RIM is a member, the sole sector in the red. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
