CANADA STOCKS-TSX skids 1 percent as oil, gold miners dive
TORONTO, July 13 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index was down more than 1 percent on Monday as a drop in oil and commodity prices weighed on the resource-heavy index.
At 9:57 a.m. (1357 GMT) the S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 103.16 points, or 1.06 percent, at 9,643.97. Eight of the TSX's 10 sectors were lower, led by a 2.87 percent drop in the mining-laden materials group and a 1.6 percent skid in the energy sector.
