TORONTO, July 13 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index turned positive late on Monday morning after sliding more than 1 percent earlier in the day.
Energy and materials shares trimmed losses, helping the resource-heavy index claw back ground. At 11:37 a.m. (1537 GMT) the S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 2.28 points at 9,749.41. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
