TORONTO, July 14 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index turned lower on Tuesday as its materials group retreated, weighing on the resource-heavy index.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 3.29 points at 9,888.64. Seven of the TSX's 10 sectors were lower, pulled down by the materials grouo, which dropped 0.42 percent. (Reporting by Nina Lex; editing by Peter Galloway)
