CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens flat on global economic concerns
TORONTO, July 17 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index rose slightly at the open on Friday but quickly turned lower as concerns about the outlook for the global economy weighed on the resource-heavy index.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 18.67 points, or 0.18 percent, to 10,323.09 at the open before relinquishing the gain and turning lower. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; editing by Peter Galloway)
