CANADA STOCKS-TSX rises 2 pct on resources rush

TORONTO, July 30 (Reuters) - A rally by oil and gold prices helped push Toronto’s main stock index higher by 2 percent on Thursday, breaking a two-day decline.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 208.73 points, or 2.0 percent, at 10,664.06. All 10 main groups advanced. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Rob Wilson)
