CANADA STOCKS-TSX backs away from 11,000 as oils, golds fall
TORONTO, Aug 5 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index fell on Wednesday as energy and gold shares weakened and investors took a breather after the index vaulted above the 11,000-point level on Tuesday.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 23.52 points, or 0.21 percent, at 10,994.58. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
