CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher on firmer commodity prices

TORONTO, Aug 18 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index opened higher on Tuesday morning, as renewed risk appetite and firmer commodity prices helped lift the resource-heavy index after deep losses the previous session.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 68.77 points, or 0.65 percent, to 10,600.36 at market open. All 10 sectors were higher.
