TORONTO, Sept 1 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index see-sawed at the open on Tuesday as slightly firmer commodity prices lifted resource-based issues but financials were weaker.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 17.36 points, or 0.16 percent, to 10,850.85, at the open, then turned positive. It was up 37.22 points at 9:36 (1336 GMT). (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
