CANADA STOCKS-TSX ends down as economic concerns weigh

 TORONTO, Sept 9 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index
finished lower on Wednesday, ending a string of four straight
higher closes, as weighty bank and gold-mining shares fell on
looming concerns about the economy.
 The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially ended
down 98.62 points, or 0.89 percent, at 11,006.68, one day after
it shot to its highest level since Oct. 3, 2008.
