CANADA STOCKS-TSX closes little changed, golds slip

TORONTO, Sept 18 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index closed little changed on Friday, ending an active trading week with the heavily weighted gold and materials sectors slipping and financials inching up.

The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE slipped 7.67 points, or 0.07 percent, to 11,520.56, after bouncing from flat, to positive and back to negative territory throughout the day. (Reporting by Pav Jordan; editing by Rob Wilson)
