CANADA STOCKS-TSX drops as energy deflates early bounce
TORONTO, Sept 24 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index fell on Thursday morning after a slightly higher open, dragged lower by weighty energy shares.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 8.21 points, or 0.07 percent, at 11,509.33. The energy sector was down 0.92 percent, while the materials group, home to gold miners, was up 0.47 percent. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; editing by Peter Galloway)
