CANADA STOCKS-Retreating resource issues knock TSX lower
TORONTO, Sept 24 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock market ended lower on Thursday, retreating further from its year high, as falling energy and commodity prices weighed on the resource-heavy market.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 228.46 points, or 2 percent, at 11,289.08. ($1=$1.09 Canadian) (Reporting by Scott Anderson; editing by Rob Wilson)
