CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher as commodities provide boost
TORONTO, Sept 28 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened higher on Monday in a broad-based move as steady commodity prices gave the resource-heavy index an early boost.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 51.85 points, or 0.46 percent, at 11,264.24 at the open. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; editing by Peter Galloway)
