CANADA STOCKS-TSX turns negative as commodities weaken

TORONTO, Sept 30 (Reuters) - Toronto’s main stock index turned negative shortly after the open on Wednesday as oil and gold prices dropped, dragging down the index’s weighty energy and materials sectors.

At 9:45 a.m. (1345 GMT), the S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 7.27 points at 11,387.72. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
