TORONTO, Oct 5 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened higher on Monday but quickly ducked into lower territory as a drop in oil prices weighed on energy shares.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 7.35 points, or 0.07 percent, at 10,950.98 moments after the open. It had started the session up nearly 10 points. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; editing by Peter Galloway)
