TORONTO, Oct 7 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index fell into negative territory on Wednesday after a higher start to the session as EnCana Corp (ECA.TO) and other big energy issuesrelinquished a slice of recent gains.
At 9:47 a.m. (1347 GMT), the S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 2.97 points, or 0.03 percent, at 11,245.00. Earlier in the session it rallied by as many as 50.02 points. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; editing by Peter Galloway)
