CANADA STOCKS-Gold stocks shine in TSX rally
TORONTO, Oct 7 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index put together a late-session rally to book a third-straight day of gains on Wednesday as gold prices rose to a record high and lifted shares of gold producers such as Barrick Gold (ABX.TO: Quote) and Goldcorp (G.TO: Quote).
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 103.43 points, or 0.92 percent, at 11,351.40.
Royal Bank of Canada RY.TO and Toronto- Dominion Bank (TD.TO: Quote) were also notable risers (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Peter Galloway)
