CANADA STOCKS-TSX edges higher after early selloff
TORONTO, Oct 9 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index edged higher on Friday on news of a stronger-than-expected gain in Canadian jobs, but lower gold prices limited the rise by holding back Barrick (ABX.TO: Quote) and other miners.
At 10:01 a.m. (1401 GMT), the S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 1.13 points, or 0.01 percent, at 11,485.64. (Reporting by Frank Pingue)
