TORONTO, Oct 14 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index
closed higher for the first time this week as sturdy oil prices
lifted Suncor Energy (SU.TO: Quote) and other energy players, while
upbeat U.S. corporate earnings helped boost sentiment.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed
up 113.36 points, or 0.99 percent, at 11,526.90 on
Wednesday.
