CANADA STOCKS-TSX dips as energy, financials drag

TORONTO, Oct 16 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index
slipped on Friday as strength in gold miners was undercut by
weakness in hefty energy and financial issues, which fell on
disappointing U.S. earnings.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed
down 3.02 points at 11,501.49.
