TORONTO, Oct 28 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index skidded to its lowest close in nearly two months on Wednesday as a drop in oil prices shook energy companies like EnCana Corp (ECA.TO), while gold-miners also weighed on the resource-heavy index.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially fell 224.34 points, or 2.03 percent, to 10,829.20. (Reporting by Frank Pingue)
