CANADA STOCKS-TSX starts slightly lower, banks weigh
TORONTO, Oct 30 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index got off to a slightly lower start on Friday as Royal Bank of Canada RY.TO and other heavyweight bank shares handed back some of the meaty gains they made on Thursday.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 2.31 points to 11,072.91 at the open. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; editing by Peter Galloway)
