TORONTO, Nov 11 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index unofficially closed higher on Wednesday as advances in banks and Potash Corp (POT.TO) outweighed a drop in the energy group.
After a brief turn lower near the end of the session on weakness in EnCana (ECA.TO) and other oil producers, the S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE clawed back to finish unofficially up 12.23 points at 11,438.97.
