CANADA STOCKS-TSX ends higher as oil, gold-miners rally
TORONTO Nov 16 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index shot to its highest close in more than three weeks on Monday as a rise in oil prices helped power energy shares like Suncor Energy SU.TO to comfortable gains.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed up 103.71 points, or 0.91 percent, higher at 11,511.39. That marked its highest close since Oct. 22. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; Editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)
