CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens down as oil and gold prices slip

 TORONTO, Nov 19 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened lower on Thursday, dragged down by a slip in oil and gold producers on the resource-laden market and a drop in Manulife Financial (MFC.TO) after it announced a major stock offering.
 The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 58 points, or 0.5 percent, to 11,594.69 at the open.  (Reporting by Irene Kuan; Editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)
