CANADA STOCKS-TSX falls as price drop hits oil shares
TORONTO, Dec 7 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index ended lower on Monday as weighty energy shares fell alongside weaker oil prices, more than offsetting the boost the index got from Potash Corp (POT.TO: Quote) on a broker upgrade of its shares.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially closed down 21.74 points, or 0.19 percent, at 11,489.06, its third straight lower close after rallying last week to its highest level in more than 14 months. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; editing by Peter Galloway)
