CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher as oil rises, energy shares lead
TORONTO, Dec 10 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened higher on Thursday as the price of oil rose, helping to lift shares of Suncor Energy (SU.TO: Quote) and other energy-related issues on the resource-heavy index.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE rose 24.19 points, or 0.21 percent, to 11,403.41 at the open. (Reporting by Irene Kuan; Editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)
