CANADA STOCKS-TSX follows energy shares to higher close
TORONTO, Dec 16 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index hit its loftiest level in nearly two weeks on Wednesday en route to a higher close as a rise in oil prices helped push up shares of Suncor Energy and other oil companies.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially ended up 105.48 points, or 0.91 percent, at 11,646.50. (Reporting by Frank Pingue; editing by Peter Galloway)
