CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher on energy shares, Potash
TORONTO, Dec 21 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened higher on Monday as stronger oil and metal prices lifted Suncor Energy (SU.TO: Quote) and other key energy and mining shares.
Potash Corp (POT.TO: Quote) also help lift the index after Goldman Sachs upgraded its rating on the stock.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 80.25 points, or 0.7 percent, at 11,543.65. ($1=$1.06 Canadian) (Reporting by Irene Kuan; Editing by Frank McGurty)
