CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower on falling oil, gold
TORONTO Jan 7 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index fell on Thursday, dragged down by weaker energy and gold prices that pressured Canada's resource-heavy index.
At 9:30 a.m. (1430 GMT) The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE opened down 21.29 points, or 0.18 percent, at 11,923.25. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)
