CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens weaker after soft jobs reports
TORONTO Jan 8 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened lower on Friday after weak employment reports in Canada and the United States doused hopes of a swift economic recovery.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE opened down 3.02 points, or 0.03 percent, at 11,884.49. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney; Editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)
