CANADA STOCKS-TSX ends two-day slide, golds help

TORONTO, Jan 13 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock market
index pushed higher on Wednesday after two days of losses as a
recovery in gold prices and evidence of a mending economy in
the United States offset weak oil prices.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index
.GSPTSE unofficially closed up 30.61 points, or 0.26 percent,
at 11,850.79.
