TORONTO, Jan 20 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock market index ended lower on Wednesday on broad pressure among heavyweight materials, energy and banking issues, as commodity prices fell amid unease about bank lending curbs in China.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE unofficially ended down 98.34 points, or 0.84 percent, at 11,665.08. Earlier, the index fell as low as 11,581.64. (Reporting by Ka Yan Ng; editing by Rob Wilson)
