CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher as gold price climbs
TORONTO Jan 25 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened higher on Monday as commodity shares were lifted by climbing gold prices and as oil prices pared early losses.
At 9:30 a.m. (1430 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was up 42.52 points, or 0.37 percent, at 11,385.95. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney, editing by Peter Galloway)
